Geo F Trumper has been operating from its Curzon Street outlet since the mid-19th century and thankfully, its beautiful interior with mahogany panelled private cubicles remains just as resplendent today. Its other, equally decadent location just off Jermyn Street opened in the swinging 60s.
One shave here and you quickly realise that THIS is shaving as it’s meant to be – as your grandfather and the men before him would have taught you – and customers tend to be fiercely loyal, with many coming in on a daily or weekly basis for much of their lives. The friendly and courteous barbers have the ability to make any treatment here feel like an indulgence, whether it’s your first or 500th visit. They also do excellent cuts, beard trims, manicures and pedicures. If you’re looking for a hipster haircut, then this won’t be the place for you – but trust us when we say that this true piece of London heritage is well worth a visit.
