The Backstory

I started threading when I was 12 and used to do it on friends at school as well as learning to thread my own brows.

But I only realised I wanted to focus my career on brows after training and practising as a beauty therapist, I realised there was a gap in the market and that I wanted to go further and capitalise on my passion for brows.

I’ve probably tended to approximately 300 brows a month since I started and the main rules/things I’ve learnt are that every face is unique, every skin type is different and I tailor each brow and lash treatment to suit the contours of every client.

The biggest brow mistake people make is hacking away at home!

Finding someone’s perfect brow shape requires consultation.  I look at face shape and what a person’s natural brow should be.

Microblading isn’t for everyone and I spend a lot of time with clients to make sure it’s right for them.

For super healthy brows I recommend brushing them with a pomade to make them look fuller and at night using castor oil and a brow brush to nourish and stimulate the hair follicles to help the hairs grow.

The Advice

My 5 Brow Rules

  1. Never use a magnifying glass – it leads to overplucking!
  2. Fill in brows before plucking to avoid taking too much off.
  3. Never take hair from the tail and tip of the brow.
  4. Brush brows and trim only the hairs that need trimming.
  5. If you’re over-emotional, DO NOT touch your brows!

The Kit

Optrex Eye Dew Dazzling Eye Drops – perfect for brightening and clearing eyes.

Odacité Eye Contour Serum Concentrate – this helps to strengthen skin around the delicate eye area.

Body Shop Precision Eye Massager – a secret weapon for improving skin circulation and tone through massage.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer – one of my all-time favourite concealers, it gives excellent coverage but is never heavy.

Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder – apply it after concealer to set it in place and brighten any dark circles.
