    The Loft Pilates Studio

    Founder Sarah Jacobs has amassed a wealth of knowledge working with elite athletes & sports teams, including the Welsh RFU, Wasps & Harlequins. The Loft's method is therefore extremely tailored: 1:1 online classes or group classes that are capped at a max of 10 participants, so that Jacobs or one of her equally brilliant instructors can correct or adjust you when needed.

    Heartcore

    Heartcore is an all-rounder (realistically we could have included them in all of our Top 5 categories) but we've put them here because it's their patented Coreformer that led to them excelling in the Pilates and fitness sphere. Even though they've had to move to the mat during lockdown, their Dynamic Mat Pilates classes are exceptional.

    Daily Burn Pilates Phase 1

    This is a 16 day program for all fitness levels taught by Andrea Speir, which focuses on how to perfect the key small, targeted movements that make pilates such an effective form of exercise, particularly when it comes to strengthening and toning your core.


    Nailing these movements will help ensure you engage the right muscles when you practice pilates and in turn this will strengthen your body from the inside out. The aim is to ensure you're aware of all of the imperative fundamentals of pilates, so it's brilliant for beginners or anyone wanting to improve or perfect their form.

    Korin Nolan Pilates

    Korin is the pilates powerhouse behind @dynamicpilatestv (which she cofounded with US based Tiffany Crosswhite Burke) and @powerpilatesuk. Equally adroit on the reformer or leading mat classes, you can find her teaching both forms online and on her IGTV.

    Why We Love It For Lockdown
    For on-demand classes try @dynamicspilatestv - particularly if you're lucky enough to have a reformer, although there are mat classes too. For small group mat classes go for Power Pilates. Korin also has sessions saved to her instagram so you can get a feel for her technique.
